Terms & Conditions

• Pre-booking is advised
• Full payment before tour is required
• 48 Hours notice is required for cancellations and passenger number changes otherwise the following payment scale applies –
  • Day of trip: 100% of cost
  • Day Before (24hrs): 50% of cost
  • 2 days before (within 48-24hrs): 25% of cost
• Credit card details are used to hold the booking and will only be charged in the event that passengers do not show up, cancel their booking or arrive with less passengers than booked.
• A minimum of 6 passengers is required in order for a tour to proceed if you have less in your group we will attempt to facilitate you by grouping you with other bookings.
• Please note that groups are required to arrive 20 minutes before their tour time for essential safety briefing and to put on the splash-proof gear and lifejackets.
• Groups arriving late forfeit their tour unless we can reschedule to other times/dates or have their tour route altered. These options are entirely at Sea Safari's discretion.
• Tickets & gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Persons who suffer from heart complaints, back complaints or who are pregnant should not travel.
• Children must be over 8 years old and accompanied by an adult. This is for safety and is a legal requirement.
• Safari durations and routes are subject to change due to weather conditions
• The Met Eireann sea area forecast is issued at 6am & 12pm and Sea Safari Tours reserve the right to cancel your tour at short notice after the forecast is issued, Cancelations due to Small Craft Warnings/Adverse weather are for your own safety.
• A full refund will be applied if the tour is cancelled due to adverse weather.
• In the event of cancellation, Sea Safari Tours will not be held liable for other third party costs incurred associated with the booking such as coach hire, taxis etc.
• Lifejackets supplied and must be worn at all times.
• We cannot guarantee specific bird or wildlife sightings.
• Although two piece splash proof clothing is provided, we recommend that you should wear warm clothing underneath.
• Third party liability insurance is provided.
• Personal items (e.g. cameras & Mobile phones) are carried at the passenger’s own risk.
• All vessels operated by Sea Safari are licensed by the Department of Communications, Marine & Natural Resources.
• Tour operators booking on behalf of their clients MUST contact Sea Safari via email and receive confirmation of booking date and time before confirming with their clients. Sea Safari is not responsible for clients wishing to travel who have not received this confirmation.
• Boats must be booked exclusively for tours departing or arriving at Malahide Marina.
• While Sea Safari endeavors to supply passengers with their requested choice of boat we reserve the right to change the boat type without any notice.
